About the role

Signature Exteriors' is seeking an experienced and talented Landscape Designer to join our dynamic team in Penrith, NSW. As a Landscape Designer, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing visually stunning and functionally exceptional outdoor spaces that enhance the overall aesthetic and liveability of our clients' properties.

What you'll be doing

Collaborating closely with clients to understand their vision and requirements, and translating these into comprehensive landscape design plans

Preparing detailed landscape design drawings, specifications, and project plans ready for CDC Approval

Overseeing the implementation of landscape projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications and timely completion

Liaising with contractors, local authorities, and other stakeholders to address any issues or challenges that arise during project execution

Continuously researching and incorporating the latest landscape design trends, materials, and techniques to create innovative and sustainable solutions

Providing expert advice and guidance to clients throughout the entire landscape design and development process

What we're looking for

A bachelor's or master's degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field

A firm understanding of CDC and DA applications

Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience as a Landscape Designer, preferably in a similar role or industry

Proficiency in using landscape design software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite

Strong understanding of local planning regulations, building codes, and environmental considerations

Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into layman's terms

A creative and innovative mindset, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for designing exceptional outdoor spaces

Flexibility to work on multiple projects concurrently and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
