Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design and delivery of unique, high-end residential garden projects with significant creative input

Interpret client briefs and site specifics to develop innovative, bespoke design concepts

Manage projects autonomously from initial consultation and concept design through to documentation and construction oversight

Build and maintain strong relationships with discerning clients, confidently presenting and refining designs

Effectively coordinate with contractors and consultants, ensuring design integrity is maintained throughout the build process

Contribute to the creative culture of a dynamic, close-knit studio

Skills, Experience & Requirements:

Proficiency in Vectorworks (preferred) or AutoCAD

Minimum 5 years post-graduate experience, ideally within a design-focused residential landscape architecture practice

Proven ability to independently prepare comprehensive project documentation (concept plans, DA/CC/CDC applications, design development, detailed construction drawings)

Solid understanding of relevant council development processes and Australian standards/legislation

Deep knowledge of Australian horticulture and sophisticated planting design

Demonstrable experience managing high-end residential projects from concept to completion, showcasing design flair and autonomy

Exceptional communication, client liaison, and presentation skills

A proactive, self-starting attitude combined with strong organisational and problem-solving abilities

Ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively within a small team
