Our client is seeking an experienced and driven individual to join their team as a Business Development Manager. Reporting to the General Manager, your primary focus will be on growing the company through business development and client engagement, with an emphasis on food safety and cleanliness in food manufacturing companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships to ensure long-term partnerships and continuous revenue growth.
  • Oversee daily operations and develop strategic initiatives for business growth, ensuring alignment with company goals and enhancing overall organizational efficiency.
  • Manage client proposals and projects from inception to completion, utilizing CRM tools to track progress, monitor milestones, and ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline by increasing customer engagement, conducting regular follow-ups, and fostering relationships that lead to repeat business and referrals.
  • Handle client accounts and opportunities, providing personalized service and addressing client needs promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Conduct client meetings via Zoom and in-person to discuss project details, address concerns, and provide updates, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and implement strategies to onboard new clients, educating them on our products and services to drive financial growth and enhance their understanding of our value proposition.
  • Provide expert solutions tailored to meet customers' hygiene needs, leveraging industry knowledge and technical expertise to deliver superior results and build trust with clients.

CANDIDATE

To be considered for this role b2b (business to business) sales experience is essential. Provided you have a proven track-record of sales success in ANY industry, you meet the prerequisites and should apply. Especially if you have previously sold a SERVICE. Ideally, however, your experience has been obtained selling to clients in the Food Production, Food Manufacturing, Food Processing Plants. It does not matter what you have sold, but so long as you have sold to end users in that aforementioned segment you are a good fit for this role. Some verticals that come to mind include:

  • Food processing and manufacturing equipment
  • Material Handling Equipment
  • Chemicals (Commercial & Industrial)
  • Facility Management Services (Hard & Soft)
  • Print & Packaging Solutions
