Are you passionate about risk done right? We're looking for a confident Risk Analyst to join a high-performing Line 1 Risk team within a leading financial services organisation. In this role, you’ll provide hands-on support to the business, helping them manage risk effectively, stay compliant, and operate confidently within risk appetite.

The Role:

Offering commercially-minded risk and compliance advice to enable sound business decisions.

Supporting incident and breach management activities, including regulatory reporting.

Ensuring control documentation is maintained and assurance reviews are completed.

Helping the business understand and address root causes of key risk themes and issues.

Contributing to change and transformation initiatives, including the implementation of FAR and CPS230 requirements.

Keeping current with regulatory and industry developments and offering technical guidance.

Representing the Line 1 Risk function in business projects and initiatives.

Building strong partnerships across the business to drive proactive risk solutions and a positive risk culture.

Your Experience:

2–5+ years’ experience in risk and/or compliance within financial services.

Strong knowledge of risk frameworks, risk assessments, and control assurance.

Familiarity with regulatory requirements, particularly FAR and CPS230.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills – confident drafting risk papers and presenting in forums.

A collaborative, solution-focused mindset and strong stakeholder engagement skills.

Industry knowledge in insurance is highly regarded.
