Cloncurry Shire Council, are looking for an experienced Centre Manager to lead their small but dedicated team in the provision of quality Early Childhood Education and Care Service which meets the needs of children, families and the community.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the strategic direction, planning and decision-making of the Centre.
• Providing administrative and organisational support for the Curry Kids Early Learning Centre.
• Role modelling and mentorship to bring out the best in our people, building on their capabilities and supporting them in making the Centre a safe and engaging place.
• Ensure the service meets all regulatory requirements. Implementing required policies and procedures, while fostering staff understanding, adherence and involvement in the review process.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and other stake holders.

Required skills & qualifications:

• Effective communicator, who fosters a collaborative approach.
• Ability to prioritise and manage change effectively.
• A comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the NQS and regulations.
• Previous managerial experience
• Experience in opening a new service will be held in high regard - Curry Kids is moving to a new bigger premise in 2026.
• Diploma of Children's services
• Current First Aid and CPR
• Bluecard
