Brassall Kids Early Learning Centre is a BRAND NEW purpose-built, Reggio Emilia inspired centre. It is set to be a vibrant, engaging place where children can explore, discover, and thrive. This beautifully designed centre boasts 6 amazing studios, each thoughtfully crafted to cater to the diverse needs and imaginations of children.
Families and children at Brassall Kids Early Learning Centre will have access to various play spaces, including multiple atelier spaces, children's stage, cenare' (children's dining space) relaxation retreats, flexible learning spaces and an adventure playground.
We are participating in the Worker Retention Payment Grant! If successful you will receive an additional payment on top of your above award pay rate.
The successful applicant will lead with experience, dedication, commitment and professionalism. You will have support from one of our Portfolio Managers and development team as well as an experienced and passionate support office team for ongoing support.
As the Centre Manager, you will partner with the Assistant Centre Manager and the Educational Leader to mentor, lead and inspire our team to achieve success. You’ll also enjoy:
Enhancing the performance of the centre through proactive management of key financials including occupancy, rostering, collection of fees, marketing, wages and general administration duties.
Assisting in the development on the new centre
Building a strong presence in the local community
Building strong relationships with families and children.
Developing and maintain partnerships within the local community.
Developing and maintain the centre Quality Improvement Plan.
Demonstrating excellent communication and time management skills.
The successful applicant will:
Understand and adhere to all Queensland Childcare requirements including the NQF, NQS, EYLF and MTOP.
Show excellent leadership qualities, be proactive and utilise their remarkable people skills.
Set high standards for staff and centre performance by nurturing staff morale.
Be capable of working autonomously.
Possess strong written and verbal skills.
Also hopefully will:
Express a genuine passion or interest in the Reggio Emilia philosophy.
Previous experience with a new centre build.
Experience using Kidsoft software is advantageous but not essential.
