About the role:

This full-time Center Director role at Little Lion Early Learning Castle Hill is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-quality early learning service in Castle Hill, NSW. As the Center Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Center, ensuring an exceptional learning environment for children and a supportive workplace for the educators.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain regular communication with the Approved Provider/Area Manager, providing periodical and timely reports on key operational matters including staffing, occupancy levels, and regulatory compliance.

Lead and inspire a dedicated team of early childhood educators and staff, ensuring high standards across all areas of service delivery.

Ensure the Center meets all regulatory and accreditation requirements

Design and implement dynamic, developmentally appropriate education aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)

Foster strong, positive relationships with children, families, and the wider community, promoting open communication and active participation in Center's activities.

Qualification:

Early Childhood Education and Care from a recognised university (as listed on the approved qualification list by ACECQA), or

Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)

Current first aid, CPR, and ACECQA approved anaphylaxis, and asthma management certifications

Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC)

Accredited Child Protection Training

Essential Experience:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a leadership role within an Early Childhood Education and Care service

• Proven capability across key operational areas, including administrative procedures, curriculum development, parent and community engagement, staff training and professional development, and effective team leadership and management

• Sound understanding and practical knowledge of Work Health and Safety (WHS) legislation

• Demonstrated familiarity with the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) system, including the ability to utilise relevant software application to ensure compliance

• Willingness to undertake the role of Nominated Supervisor in accordance with the Education and Care Services National Law Application Act 2010 and Education and Care Services National Regulations

• In-depth knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and/or My Time Our Place Framework, Education and Care Services National Law (2010), Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011), Family Assistance Law (Child Care Subsidy 2018)

• Previous experience in successfully managing budget within an early education and care setting
