Finance Business Partner

• $50–$55 per hour + super

Calling all Heroes (immediately available qualified accounts), a respected organisation in Perth’s northern corridor is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join their finance team on an initial 3-month contract, with a strong opportunity for permanent employment. This is a key business-facing role partnering with directorates to support strategic decision-making, financial performance, and long-term sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, providing guidance on financial performance, budget management, and forecasting
• Prepare monthly and ad hoc financial reports including variance analysis, commentary, and trend insights
• Lead the delivery of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and strategic planning processes
• Conduct financial modelling, cost-benefit analysis, benchmarking, and scenario planning
• Liaise with senior leadership to enhance financial acumen and enable data-driven decisions
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across financial systems and processes
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and organisational policies
• Maintain key financial registers and ensure data integrity within finance systems
• Proactively identify risks and work within a governance framework to manage them

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Degree-qualified in Accounting, Finance, or Business
• CPA or CA qualified
• Previous experience in a finance business partnering role (public sector experience is advantageous but not essential)
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers
• Skilled in financial modelling, reporting, and systems such as TechnologyOne, TM1, or Power BI
• Collaborative and proactive approach with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
