Level 2 - $88,126.76 (incl $20,000 Port Hedland Allowance)
*Increasing to $90,851.83 as of 1st July 2025
The Role
As the Children Program Officer, you will be responsible for coordinating Children activities and the coordination of promotional material for programs, services, and activities at the JD Hardie Youth and Community Hub on a part time basis.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about childhood development with demonstrated experience in supervising children. The successful candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and interact with children to always ensure a safe environment
You will be joining the team at an exciting time as the Town embarks on a culture of change with embracing of a wide range of new technologies, a large capital works program, and several other projects that make the Town a desirable place to live and work.

Work Related Requirements
The preferred applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol assessment to be considered for the role, as well as possess:
- National Police Clearance
- Current 'C' class driver's license
- Rights to work in Australia
- Working with Children Check
- First Aid Certificate
