Construction Administrator Role:
Rebilt Group is currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Construction Administrator to fulfill a 12-month contract while the current Construction Administrator is on maternity leave. In this role, you will enhance internal supervisory functions across projects playing a pivotal role in supporting two company directors, project managers, site supervisors, and trades to ensure efficient project operations and while exceeding client expectations.
This is a full-time position but for twelve months and requires optimal communication skills, adherence to company protocols, a high proficiency in MS Word, Excel and adherence to an ethical conduct.
Role Responsibilities
Maintain comprehensive project documentation and correspondence, including client files, contract agreements, progress claims, variation orders, tax invoices, tax invoice receipts and other essential documents.
Supervise the portfolios of Rebilt Group clients.
Assist in cost-estimating processes.
Communicate with homeowners, subcontractors, and suppliers to schedule, discuss, and resolve construction-related issues.
Perform material take-offs and place orders.
Develop workflows and complete tasks as required.
Provide support to the construction team on site-related matters.
Continuously review processes and systems, solve problems throughout the project lifecycle, and offer efficient solutions.
Ensure high levels of detail and quality control are maintained.
About You
We are looking for someone who wants to be part of our dynamic and growing business. The successful candidate will possess:
Experience in pre-site administration, project coordination, or contract administration within the building and construction industry.
Proficiency in administrative tasks, especially in Microsoft Office Suite (Project and Excel in particular).
Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously with the internal team, contractors, and clients.
Desire to be part of a growing business, working autonomously in a decisive team, taking ownership of the role, and demonstrating reliability with a strong work ethic.
What’s In It for You?
Full-time (five days) per week, based at our Schofields office.
Some limited flexibility to work from home but also required project visits on site, some errands and client/supplier/network interactions.
12-month contract and the potential for an extension within a highly collaborative team where you will be a highly valued project coordinator/administrator
