Role: Supplier Management Coordinator | Senior Administrator Officer
Start: ASAP
Contract Length: 6 months
Rate: $70.63p/hour plus Super

The Senior Administrative Officer manages general administrative support for the designated work area, ensuring the delivery of efficient and effective administrative services. They may provide guidance, advice, and support to administrative staff in the delivery of work outcomes.
The Senior Administrative Officer works under broad supervision, performing tasks as directed and in accordance with defined responsibilities. They choose appropriate methods of work and plan and prioritise tasks. They also resolve routine matters related to responsibilities and collaborate with others to resolve complex matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage general administrative services and operational support for the work area, ensuring high quality and efficient administrative support.
- Resolve complex matters and ensure appropriate, efficient action is taken for matters brought to the work area. 3. Provide high level administrative coordination in relation to diary, events, travel, and accommodation management for the work area.
- Facilitate timely report submission, uphold data integrity according to university systems, and partner with managers to advance compliance initiatives.
- Manage allocation, access, maintenance, and cleaning of work area facilities to ensure a clean and safe working environment for everyone.
- Coordinate purchasing processes and resolve any discrepancies in payment schedules.
- Participate in the development and implementation of strategic and operational plans.
- Take the lead in handling stakeholder communications, ensuring that concerns are addressed effectively and timely while fostering a culture of trust and collaboration within the work area and beyond.
- Champion a proactive approach to health and safety, review and provide feedback on work area protocols, and collaborate crossfunctionally to ensure consistent safety standards across tasks and projects.
- Undertake other duties and projects appropriate within the classification level as required
About you:
Previous commercial experience working with suppliers is essential.
- experience within supplier managment
- Previous experience in performing secretariat duties in supplier performance meetings and/or working with supplier contracts highly desirable.
- Experience in providing commercial secretariat support
- Proven ability to plan and service meetings (minutes, agendas and follow up action items)
- Demonstrated experience in a busy commercial environment
- Record keeping experience with proven attention to detail
- Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and SharePoint
- Excellent communication both written and oral.
