About the Role:
The Event Producer plays a pivotal role in the successful end-to-end delivery of events, activations, and integrated campaigns at Yakkazoo. With 5+ years of agency experience, this role demands a high level of autonomy, strategic oversight, and proven ability to manage complex, high-value projects with confidence.
Producers are responsible for leading medium-to-large-scale projects, managing budgets, timelines, and creative execution while serving as a trusted client partner. They are expected to drive project momentum, support the development of junior team members, and contribute to operational excellence across the Events & Experiences team.
Primary Objectives:
To contribute to the successful execution of projects by:
Managing timelines and logistics efficiently
Supporting client and supplier communications
Delivering events that meet client expectations and budget goal
Maintaining strong internal collaboration and use of agency systems
Responsibilities may include:
Lead and oversee the planning, production, and post-event wrap of large-scale live events, brand activations, and integrated experiences
Develop and manage detailed project plans, critical paths, and production schedules
Prepare, present, and manage end-to-end budgets, including financial approvals, supplier negotiations, POs, and reconciliations
Serve as the day-to-day contact for clients, providing strategic input, status updates, and proactive communication
Write comprehensive creative and production briefs; liaise with Creative Studio, Strategy, Media and Digital teams
Source and manage venues, suppliers, talent, speakers, and contractors—negotiating and overseeing execution
Ensure all required WHS, risk assessments, and compliance documentation are completed and submitted
Lead internal and client WIPs with structured updates and documentation
Oversee on-site delivery of events, including managing crew, logistics, schedules, suppliers, and client experience
Conduct post-event debriefs and deliver case study documentation for internal records and agency learnings
Support the professional growth of Event Managers and Coordinators through feedback and guidance
Contribute to agency operations, systems refinement, and cross-team collaboration initiatives
Remain up to date with market trends, technologies, and creative formats in experiential marketing
About You:
What we’re looking for:
5+ years Agency experience in event management and coordination
Proven ability to manage end-to-end event delivery for major clients
Excellent time, financial, and stakeholder management skills
Strong written and verbal communication; confident presenter
Comfortable working independently and as a team lead
Are an experienced MS Office & Google Suite user with Procim and/or Click Up experience
Have a keen interest in current and emerging technologies.
A critical thinker, passionate about innovation and has commercial awareness
Have at least 5+ years’ Agency experience in event management and coordination
Sydney-based—able to work from the Pyrmont office 4 days per week
Have the ability to work as part of a team and align with Yakkazoo’s values (Brave Explorer, Loyal Companion & Passionate Storyteller)
