Position Summary:

We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Cellar Door Waiters to join our front-of-house team. In this role, you will be the face of our winery, delivering engaging tastings, guiding guests through our wine portfolio, and providing a first-class hospitality experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Welcome and host guests at the cellar door, offering wine tastings and sharing product knowledge

Provide table service in our tasting room and/or restaurant area

Explain wine varietals, vintage characteristics, and food pairings

Assist with wine sales, bookings, and upselling wine club memberships

Ensure the tasting area is clean, organized, and well-stocked

Support with setting up and packing down events or private tastings

Handle point-of-sale transactions and maintain accurate sales records

Requirements:

Previous hospitality, wine, or customer service experience preferred

Passion for wine and willingness to learn (WSET qualifications a plus)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

RSA certificate (Responsible Service of Alcohol) or ability to obtain one

Available to work weekends, public holidays, and event days
