About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Front Of House All Rounder to join our team at De Nicolos Restaurant in West Mackay, QLD. As a casual role, you will play a crucial part in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our customers.

What you'll be doing

Cleaning and setting the restaurant in the afternoon before service

Greeting and seating customers in a friendly and welcoming manner

Providing exceptional customer service by responding promptly to customer requests and inquiries

Assisting with table service, including taking orders, delivering food, pouring wines at the table, serving soft drinks and clearing tables

Maintaining a clean and organised front-of-house area

Resolving any customer concerns or issues in a professional and courteous manner

Playing an active role in the pack down of the restaurant including polishing glassware and cutlery, organizing tables for the next days service and general cleaning.

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a customer-facing role within the hospitality and tourism industry, preferably in a waiting staff or front-of-house position

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour

Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively

A passion for providing exceptional customer service and a genuine desire to exceed customer expectations

Flexibility to work a casual schedule, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
