This globally renowned engineering manufacturer is a leader in commercial and industrial refrigeration, with a legacy of technical excellence spanning over 80 years. Operating in more than 40 countries, and with a strong and growing presence across Australia, the company is trusted for its precision-engineered compressor systems and its commitment to sustainable cooling technologies.
Their product portfolio is built around open drive and semi-hermetic compressors, along with modular condensing units, pressure vessels, and advanced system controls — all designed for performance in demanding environments. These systems are integrated into mission-critical infrastructure across cold chain logistics, food and beverage production, meat and dairy processing, supermarkets, pharmaceuticals, and heavy industrial cooling applications.
The Role:
They are looking for an Account Manager in Victoria who thrives on deepening existing partnerships while also uncovering new project opportunities. Reporting to the National Sales Manager your responsibilities will include:
Managing and growing key client accounts across commercial and industrial sectors
Providing technical advice and support to customers on refrigeration systems and applications
Identifying new sales opportunities within existing accounts and through targeted outreach
Coordinating with engineering and product specialists to develop tailored cooling solutions
Preparing and presenting quotes, tenders, and solution-based proposals
Conducting regular site visits and inspections to understand client needs and project scopes
Tracking market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic sales efforts
Collaborating with internal teams on delivery timelines, aftersales support, and client satisfaction
Representing the company at trade shows, technical forums, and client meeting
Experience Needed:
5+ years' experience selling commercial or industrial refrigeration solutions is essential
Proven track record in account management and/or business development within technical or engineering-focused environments
Confident communicator with the ability to liaise with technicians, engineers, and project stakeholders
Consultative sales approach with strong problem-solving and solution-building skills
Well-organised, self-motivated, and capable of managing a varied client portfolio
Salary Expectations:
$110k - $130k + Super + Company Car or Allowance + Commissions (25% of base salary)
