Due to recent growth we are now embarking on a manning increase of the Beta Hunt Operation and looking to employ Experienced Underground Service Crew on an 8:6/7:7 roster on a permanent full-time basis.

THE WESTGOLD OFFER

• A permanent full-time position at a successful gold producer

• 25 days annual leave and 10 days personal leave accrued and paid at 12 hour days
• Up to $8K in allowances per annum
• 2 bonuses per year that equate up to 15% of your combined salary plus super per annum

• Tuesday to Tuesday ? 8 days on, 6 days off, 7 nights on, 7 days off roster
• Flights direct to the Kambalda Airstrip located within 10 mins of site and camp

THE ROLE

• Extend ventilation services to areas where needed, which includes hanging ventilation bags and moving/installing secondary fans (ability to construct vent walls & doors an advantage)
• Extend, install, repair and maintain water, air, pump, electrical and communication services as required
• Install grout, plate, and tension of cable bolts
• Safely use hand tools to undertake certain tasks
• Operation of the Integrated Tool Carrier to transport equipment and complete Service Crew operations
• Assist with all operations including offside operators as required.
• Complete all administrative processing requirements associated with maintenance duties

WHAT DO I NEED

• Current C Class Western Australian driver?s licence (essential)
• Dangerous Goods Security Card (highly regarded)
• Minimum of 12 months experience working in an underground mining environment as an Underground Service Crew
• Knowledge and understanding of the Work Health and Safety Act & Regulations
• Desire to maintain a proactive safe working environment
• Solid problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and be adaptable
• Excellent communication skills
• A can-do, team-oriented attitude
