Clover Downs Contracting is a provider of Mining Services for Surface and Underground Operations, specialising in Underground Construction Projects providing customised solutions to clients' needs. Founded in Western Australia in 2000, we have grown to provide services to mines throughout Australia operating from an office and workshop facility in WA.

Clover Downs Contracting employs a range of Trades persons, Operators and Miners to enable project installations. Clover Downs Contracting prides itself in its low turnover which leads to a skilled workforce that understands the requirements of our clients and the tasks which are required to be performed.

Safety is the primary focus of CDC Management and our employees. CDC believes that zero harm is achievable and we continue to prove this through the injury free milestones that we reach on the sites in which we operate. This is a significant achievement considering the nature of works that CDC undertakes which can involve high levels of risk across numerous tasks that must be managed.

Location of Role

Clover Downs Contracting is currently seeking underground service crew personnel for roles in Western Australia.

Project - Service Crew Miner – Mining Operations

The role of the project - service crew miner is to provide project support to the client in the form of installing underground infrastructure and services. Typical projects would include substation moves and HV cable installations, civil works and secondary ventilation projects such as vent doors and fan moves.

As Clover Downs Contracting prides itself in believing that zero harm is achievable it is your resonsibliy to ensure that your own health and safety and the health and safety of your fellow team members is maintained at all times. You must ensure all site standards and procedures are followed and that our activities have zero impact on the environment and community.

Role Requirements

Self motivated with a desire for team success you will have a proven underground mining background with an established safety awareness and communication skills across all levels of personnel.

It is a requirement that you have a WA manual drivers licence, nationally accredited working at heights certificate, EWP license and a minimum of two years U/G experience. Hand held rock drilling (Airleg) and construction project experience is a priority. A trade background will be seen as an advantage, but not essential for the right candidate.
