Taurus is a privately owned and operated specialist mining supplier with various clients around Australia.

On behalf of one of our valued clients we are seeking 4 experienced Underground Service Crew for 2/2 rosters. You must be willing to operate a dump truck also.

Our client is running a special project for 3-4 months and need extra staff to add to the crews.

This is not an entry level role, Underground service crew experience is required over 12 months is preferred.

Duties:

Repair and install ventilation services to areas where instructed, which includes bags of up to 20kg.

Moving/installing secondary ventilation fans.

Install, maintain, repair and extend air, water and dewatering services as per site specifications and mine planning.

Maintain and install pumps underground.

Operate IT (Integrated Tool Carrier) and Light Vehicles.

Operate UG Dump Truck when required

To be considered for this position you must be able to demonstrate the following;

Experienced Underground Service Crew, 12+ months is required. As well as previous UG Truck driving experience.

Working at Heights Certificate.

A National Police Clearance under 6 months will be required.

Manual Drivers Licence ESSENTIAL

A commitment to your own safety and those who work with you.

Successful candidates will also be required to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test.

What's in it for you?

ASAP Start.

Casual flat pay rate $55 per hour, plus super paid on all hours.

12 hour shifts

Weekly pays.

Roles are FIFO from Perth only.

Own permanent room in camp for the duration of the project.

At this stage this position is for 3 -4 months so would not suit someone in a permanent position.
