We’ve been engaged by a major national distribution business to help them find two Inventory Team Managers for their high-performing Brisbane DC — one for the early AM shift, the other for the afternoon shift.

This is an ideal opportunity for experienced Inventory or Warehouse Supervisors who are ready for that next step — your first big break into management. If you’ve been leading teams, owning processes, and itching for more responsibility, this is your time.

About the roles:

You’ll be stepping into a key leadership position, managing a small team of four and owning the site’s inventory operations and systems. From maintaining stock accuracy to improving workflows and collaborating across the DC leadership group — these roles put you at the heart of a high-volume, fast-paced operation.

Choose your shift:

AM Shift – early start and early finish

Afternoon Shift – lead the team through the second half of the day

What you’ll be doing:

Lead your team across inventory control, stock movements, and replenishment activities

Manage warehouse systems and ensure inventory accuracy across the board

Handle investigations into stock discrepancies and ensure damaged stock is properly managed

Work closely with other DC leaders to drive performance and process improvements

Deliver key inventory reports and track against KPIs

Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with WHS policies

What we’re looking for:

You’ve been a supervisor or team leader in a warehouse or DC environment — and you’re ready for the next step

Solid understanding of inventory processes and WMS platforms

A proactive mindset and a passion for coaching and supporting your team

Strong communication skills and a sharp eye for detail

Comfortable being the after-hours contact for emergencies (on rotation)
