We are seeking a Registered Architect/Project Architect with five years experience to join us at our Deakin, Canberra office where you will be working alongside a young, talented and dynamic team of architects, offering a variety of projects from bespoke architectural homes to innovative commercial and institutional projects. Turco and Associates are seeking an individual who has experience working on high-end residential, multi-residential or commercial projects and managing contract administration.

The Opportunity:

The successful candidate will have a passion & flair for design and architecture, strong design and documentation experience, excellent construction knowledge and high professional standards. You will have a keen eye for detail and be able to work autonomously as well as within a team.

You will play a pivotal role in conceptualising, designing and delivering architectural solutions to bring our clients dreams into an award-winning reality. You will be responsible for all facets of the project lifecycle. You will interpret the client brief and run with the project adding individual flair, design instinct and integrity along the way.

Responsibilities / Duties:

• Experience and confidence with administering contracts.

• Design and manage a project from concept through to construction completion.

• Successful navigation of the town planning process.

• Design development and documentation of all stages using Revit/AutoCAD.

• Liaise with contractors, consultants and builders during construction stage.

• Liaise with clients and direct team members to ensure all aspects of the project are coordinated.

• Ensure design and documentation adheres to all relevant codes, standards and regulations.

• Prepare Architectural specifications, plans and documentation to support tender packages.

• Ensure the design intent and excellent technical solutions are achieved throughout the project.

Experience Needed:

5+ yrs experience

Program Knowledge:

Revit / AutoCAD

Knowledge of Adobe suite.

Proficient in Word & Excel.
