- Join our City Works team as a Civil Maintenance Audit Officer and help maintain a safer, more efficient city infrastructure!
- Full time permanent position
- Flexible work environment with hybrid work options
- Band 4 $72,223 - $76,938 per annum (dependent on experience) plus superannuation
- Location: Dingley Village
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team at the City of Kingston. In this role, you will:
- Assess and report on the condition and maintenance quality of Civil Infrastructure assets
- Contribute to the development and implementation of our asset management system
- Collaborate with the Civil maintenance team to deliver excellent customer service
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in asset management, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Join us in maintaining and improving our city's vital infrastructure.
Other Responsibilities
- Ensure audits are carried out within time constraints.
- Respond to emergency maintenance situations.
- Provide insights to Supervisors, and Council staff on Road and Drainage maintenance issues within areas of responsibility.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the City Works team to provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct civil infrastructure inspections, record defect and report work using council's software systems
What You’ll Bring
- Knowledge of civil infrastructure inspection and maintenance practices including industry best practice and techniques.
- Skills in managing time and planning and organising one’s own work.
- Valid Victorian driver’s licence with minimum Medium Rigid Truck Endorsement or be willing to obtain
- Relevant experience in civil infrastructure maintenance
