About the role
Pacific Hoseflex Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Logistics - Dispatch Person to join our team in Burleigh Heads, Queensland. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient distribution of our products to customers. As this role forms part of the Logistics team, due to leave and other labour impacts, there will be a requirement for the successful applicant to complete the duties of the Incoming, Stock Picking and Purchasing roles where applicable but not concurrently (this may be in an Adhoc situation or via a Quarterly Rotation dependent on the needs of the business).

How You’ll Make a Difference

Working closely with the Logistics Team, your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Coordinating the daily dispatch of products from our facility, ensuring orders are processed and shipped on time

Preparing and processing shipping documentation and other required documentation

Liaising with carriers and logistics providers to arrange delivery of products to customers

Maintaining accurate inventory records and monitoring stock levels to support effective supply chain management

Troubleshooting any delivery or shipping issues that may arise and working to resolve them in a timely manner

Assisting with the general operations of the Logistics team as needed

Requirement to complete training for the Incoming, Stock Picking and Purchasing roles where applicable

A Cert III in Logistics would be highly desirable

At least 1 year of experience in a logistics or dispatch role, preferably within the manufacturing industry

Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with customers, carriers and internal teams

Proficiency in using logistics and inventory management software

A keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of the role

A proactive and problem-solving mindset to identify and resolve any issues that may arise
