About the role
The Library and CUC Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Flinders Shire Public Library and the Country Universities Centre (CUC). The Library and CUC is an integrated study, resource and programs hub, which provides opportunities for education and training, community connection, and access to information.

As a representative of Council, demonstrated professionalism and a commitment to a high level of service and continuous improvement in the best interest of Council and the Community are essential.

What we're looking for

High level communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deliver excellent customer service across diverse stakeholders including vulnerable and/or disadvantaged individuals / groups, youth and Government agencies.

Demonstrated organisational and time management experience with ability to prioritise tasks

Demonstrated experience in education, leadership or management experience

Demonstrated ability to network, build strong relationships and work within a team

Capacity to plan and implement strategies to enhance library users and student experience

The ability to work effectively and productively in a team environment

Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media knowledge.
