MYSA is seeking an experienced team leader to manage our social work and NDIS teams. The candidate must have highly developed case management skills, experience providing individualised clinical supervision, chairing case management meetings and be able to develop new and maintain external stakeholder relationships (including attending and contributing to high level government and non-government meetings). The successful individual will develop the critical thinking and clinical skills of our current team of youth workers, social workers and psychologists as well as manage a small case load of clients with high and complex needs. Experience with the NDIS would be advantageous, but not essential)

Essential Criteria:

Degree in Social Work or Social Science (with a minimum of 5 years in practice)

Experience managing a team of social workers (with a minimum of 2 years' experience)

Extensive experience in case management, including supporting clients with high and complex needs

Experience developing, delivering and evaluating group work programs

Ability to perform in fast paced and high pressure situations with grace and maturity

Excellent written and verbal communications skills

Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels (e.g. clients, government and non-government

agencies, funding providers)

Department of Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check (or Child-related Employment Screening

Clearance)

Valid Driver’s Licence and willingness to transport clients

Child Safe Environment Training certification (no less than a year old)
