KingKids Bentleigh is on the lookout for a superstar Cook/Food Safety Supervisor to bring flavour, creativity, and heart to our beautiful 124-place centre.

If you love preparing nourishing meals, thinking creatively about healthy food, and want to be part of a fun, supportive and passionate team, this is the role for you.

About the Role

You’ll be the culinary hero behind the scenes, preparing fresh, wholesome, and child-friendly meals each day for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. Your role will also include:

Planning and preparing our seasonal menus

Catering for allergies, special diets and cultural needs

Ordering and managing stock

Supporting our centre’s events and celebrations with special catering

Ensuring our kitchen meets all food safety standards

Your role is essential in creating a warm, welcoming mealtime experience where nutrition meets nurture.

What We’re Looking For

We’re after someone who’s professional, reliable, and full of positive energy! Ideally, you’ll also have:

A Food Safety Supervisor Certificate

Experience with allergy management and dietary needs

Strong written and verbal communication skills

A Working with Children Check and Police Check

A creative flair—especially when it comes to making healthy food look and taste amazing for little ones!

A Certificate III in Children’s Services and/or previous experience in early learning settings would be a bonus, but not essential.
