We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join a dynamic and evolving team. This role offers a broad range of responsibilities, including CAPEX management, reconciliations, reporting, and year-end processes. This is a 6-month temporary position with the potential for extension. The role is hybrid, offering flexibility to work from the newly refurbished office and from home.

Responsibilities:

• Manage CAPEX, fixed assets, and related processes
• Perform month-end and balance sheet reconciliations
• Coordinate month-end processes with internal/external stakeholders
• Prepare year-end financial statements and BAS/FBT returns
• Handle intercompany reconciliations and cash flow statements
• Support student finance operations (tuition receipts, refunds, credit notes)

Your profile:

• CA/CPA qualified with 4-5+ years' financial accounting experience
• Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, PeopleSoft)
• Strong Excel skills and knowledge of fixed assets, GST, and cash flow
• Experience in year-end reporting and audits
