Our clubhouse features a variety of dining and function spaces, and a vibrant food and beverage culture that caters to both members and guests.

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. Working closely with our Food & Beverage Manager and reporting to our Chief Executive Officer, you will be responsible for the creation and delivery of high-quality, seasonal menus across à la carte dining, events, and casual offerings including: our Club's bistro which operates for Members and their guests 7 days per week, Corporate golf days, Weddings, Conferences, and other celebrations for Members and external clients.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring creativity, leadership, organisation, and a commitment to excellence in both food and team development.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the planning, preparation, and presentation of all food across club operations

Develop innovative menus for daily dining, private events, and special functions

Manage and mentor a small, dynamic kitchen team

Oversee kitchen operations, including rostering, ordering, cost control, and compliance with health and safety standards

Maintain high standards of cleanliness and efficiency

Collaborate with our Food & Beverage Manager to deliver outstanding member and guest experiences

About You:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior kitchen role, preferably in a club, hotel, or event setting

Strong leadership and communication skills

A passion for food quality, presentation, and consistency

Experience in managing budgets, stock control, and kitchen administration

Formal culinary qualifications

Mostly day time hours, with availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and some evenings

The successful candidate must be able to work autonomously and in a team and demonstrate flexibility to handle various responsibilities as needed, especially during peak times and special events.
