In this impactful role you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing quality assurance programs and services that ensure appropriate service delivery to Lifetime Support Scheme (LSS) participants. You will proactively support employees across the LSA through the provision of advice on the implementation of safety and quality methodologies, risk management and continual improvement practices specific to service planning practice, treatment care and support services.
The LSS Participants are a diverse cohort of people with serious injuries that may include brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations, burns and blindness. To hear from some of them please see the LSS Participants Stories and Videos.

The experience we are looking for…
To be successful in our position you will have:
Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing and supporting quality assurance programs, processes, systems and related reports, ideally in a health, disability or personal injury related industry.
High level ability to articulate and present complex concepts clearly and concisely and develop effective working relationships and networks with a broad range of stakeholders, both within and external to the agency.
Contemporary knowledge of best-practice quality assurance, ethical conduct, risk management and continuous improvement methodologies, ideally for person-centred health and disability care service delivery.

The Lifetime Support Authority (LSA) delivers the Lifetime Support Scheme (LSS) which funds necessary and reasonable treatment, care and support for people who sustain serious injuries in a motor vehicle accident on South Australian roads, regardless of fault.

Position Conditions: Full-time, 12-Month Fixed-term Opportunity. Part-time requests will be considered.
Remuneration: ASO6 ($98,478 - $104,165) + Superannuation
Special Conditions
Appointment will be subject to the provision of a valid Working with Children Check and a satisfactory Criminal History Check that is no more than six months old.
Travel to health and community facilities, participants' homes, intrastate and interstate may be required.

The Lifetime Support Scheme (LSS) provides care, treatment and support for people who have sustained very serious lifelong injuries as a result of a motor vehicle accident in South Australia.
We take a person-centred approach, so that participants have control to make their own choices about their care, treatment and support that best benefit them and their families.
Our team of highly skilled Service Planners and allied health professionals work closely with participants to ensure they live the best life possible.
We administer the LSS in accordance with Part 2 of the Motor Vehicle Accidents (Lifetime Support Scheme) Act 2013.
