We’re recruiting for multiple clients in Pendle Hill, Revesby, and Marrickville who are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Officer to ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality. Key Responsibilities:

• Take charge of ensuring the safety of yourself and others in the workplace.
• Report incidents, injuries, and near misses promptly and assist in fostering a safe working environment.
• Oversee daily verification of CCPs and QCPs.
• Take responsibility for ensuring all production documentation is accurate and filed on time.
• Perform micro-sampling, swabbing, and other essential testing as part of quality control measures.
• Contribute to internal and external audits, ensuring compliance at all times.
• Assist with managing supplier complaints and help maintain raw material specifications.
• Conduct allergen testing and maintain excellent food safety records.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: 3-5 years in a Quality Assurance role, ideally in food manufacturing.
• Qualifications: A degree in Science or a related field, along with familiarity with HACCP, GMP, and QMS systems.
• Auditing Experience: Previous internal auditing experience is a bonus but not essential.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access) is required.
• Quality Assurance: Timely and accurate verification of CCPs and QCPs, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Documentation Accuracy: Keep production forms and records up-to-date and ensure audits are passed successfully.
