Dr Saad Khan is seeking an organised Medical Receptionist/Secretary to join the staff on a part-time basis, assisting the doctor and Practice Manager in the operation of the practice.

Duties & responsibilities:

Greet and coordinate patients through a smooth flow in and out of appointments

Handle the booking, rescheduling and cancellation of patient appointments, procedures, and follow-up

Process incoming and outgoing mail

Maintain patient accounts and process their payments

Liaise between patients and the doctor to resolve and answer concerns and issues

Experience & attributes:

Prior experience in medical administration is required

Administration or customer service experience

Neat personal presentation

Proficiency with computers and ability to learn new systems quickly

Effective communication skills with patients, visitors, other admin staff, medical practitioners, nurses, and hospital bed managers

Attention to detail and accurate data entry skills

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

Strong organisational skills to manage appointment scheduling
