We're growing our kitchen team and looking for passionate, experienced chefs to join the crew at Next Door Espresso. We’re a café with a focus on quality, consistency, and community – and we’re on the hunt for people who care as much as we do

👨‍🍳 1. Breakfast Chefs

Experience in high-volume breakfast & lunch service is a must

Work under our Lead Chef and follow our already in place menu

Fast, clean, consistent execution is key

Must have proven experience and references in breakfast kitchen

🥐 2. Cabinet Food, Baking & Catering

Skilled in preparing high-quality cabinet goods (bakes, wraps, salads, toasties, home made cakes)

Responsible for daily cabinet prep, catering orders and stock rotation

Early morning starts

Ability to follow company recipes and presentation standards

Must have proven experience in a similar role

🍖 3. Next Door Nights > Lead Chef

2-4 evenings per week running NEW dinner service

Involved in the development of our dinner menu and strategy

Must be experienced in trendy foods, ideally smoking meats, BBQ, and elevated casual dining/takeaway food but open to suggestion

Extra hours available across breakfast/lunch service if desired

Must have proven experience in dinner service

We’re currently extending our hours into dinner service and looking for chefs who are excited to join during the build process. This is a chance to help bring a high level of casual night dining to the area. You’ll need to provide solid references and be ready to build on what Nextdoor is – not change our identity. We’re after chefs who get our vibe and want to grow with it.
