Our clients are an established boutique accounting advisory firm (10 staff) located in the heart of Penrith. They focus on providing advisory services to SME's across varying industries. They pride themselves on work life balance with no overtime as they understand family always comes first.

This would be the ideal role for you if you are an experienced Senior Accountant or Manager looking to work closer to home in Western Sydney and enjoy working with successful businesses. You will be working closely with the Senior Manager and have a team working with you on clients.

Role and responsibility:

• Correspond with team to assess workflow and targets
• Focus on allocated list of clients for the preparation of Financial Statements and Tax Returns for Individuals, Partnerships, Trusts and Companies
• Providing oversight and support for Tax Planning and Business Advisory services (including Asset Protection).
• Prepare and/or Review of Business Activity Statements
• Liaise with ATO regarding clients’ tax returns, payment plans, and other obligations.
• Pitch in for matters relating to full-cycle accounting when required

Requirements

• The successful candidate will have 3+ years experience in business services accounting
• CPA/CA qualification.
• MUST have strong Business Services Accounting Skills
• Xero and MYOB experience highly regarded
• Excellent relationship and communication skills are essential
• Problem solving skills and able to think outside the box
