Assistant Directors in our Financial Audit branch lead and manage assurance auditing operations, ensuring effective and efficient issuing of opinions on financial statements, controls and key performance indicators and statutory objectives of the Auditor General.

In this role you will manage audit teams and audits, providing recommendations on accounting practices and procedures.

As a leader, you will communicate clearly and concisely to ensure you message is tailored to your target audience and will drive excellent performance in your teams, setting clear role and performance expectations.

We currently have two full time, permanent positions available for immediate filling.

We are establishing a pool of candidates to fill upcoming vacancies for full time or part time, permanent and fixed term vacancies that arise until 30 June 2026. Fixed term appointments may have the possibility of permanency.
