Deputy Director of Nursing (Aged Care)

We have an opening for a Deputy Director of Nursing to join a dynamic and inspiring Management team. The role requires oversight of all clinical standards for a 100+ bed home in Sydney!

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor the clinical team, including Registered Nurses, Care Staff, and a Clinical Nurse Specialist.
• Ensure high standards of clinical care, compliance, and quality outcomes for residents.
• Oversee care planning, clinical documentation, and medication management.
• Drive continuous improvement and support accreditation processes.
• Collaborate with the General Manager and Quality Team to enhance service delivery.

Essential Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (AHPRA registered) with 3–5 years of experience in a similar aged care leadership role.
• Strong clinical expertise, complex healthcare knowledge, and documentation skills.
• Experience supervising staff and leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards and accreditation processes.
