The Opportunity

We are seeking a proactive Logistics Supervisor to join our friendly and fast-paced operations team on a fixed-term, full-time basis to cover a period of parental leave. In this key role, you will take the lead on all things logistics, from inbound deliveries and inventory to packing and dispatch, while contributing to a positive and collaborative workplace culture.

You will oversee the smooth coordination of incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring our dispatch and stores functions are efficient, safe, and aligned with ISO standards. You will work with the team, plan ahead, support continuous improvement, and help keep things running on time and with care.

Key responsibilities:

Managing goods inwards and outwards, including packing, wrapping, and scheduling.

Supervising the despatch team and supporting their day-to-day development.

Monitoring stock, freight, and transport logistics to ensure timely deliveries.

Liaising with internal departments and external freight providers.

Maintaining clean, organised, and safe warehouse and despatch areas.

Proactively identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Relationships:

You will work closely with the broader leadership team, transport drivers, warehouse staff, and external providers, playing a central role in keeping our operational heartbeat strong.

About You

You are a natural organiser, someone who can think ahead, solve problems on the fly, and bring a steady, calm energy to the team. You lead by example and know how to keep things moving, with both precision and heart.

What you will bring:

A background in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations.

Previous supervisory or team leadership experience (minimum 2 years).

Diploma in logistics, supply chain, or relevant field (desirable).

Forklift ticket (essential), MR or HR licence (desirable).

Strong organisational and time management skills.

A hands-on, safety-first attitude and attention to detail.

Solid communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Experience with inventory systems and Microsoft Office.

Knowledge of Lean principles (highly regarded).

Ability to read drawings (advantageous).
