About the role:
Keolis Downer Northern Beaches wants your skills to help provide payroll services. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will provide system maintenance and complex and specialized payroll functions for employees to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing and associated reporting.

Role Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
Qualifications in finance or demonstratable equivalent experience
Experience working as a Payroll Officer within a large and complex organization
Demonstrated experience in the provision of high-quality payroll services
Payroll Reconciliations, End of Month and End of Year experience
Proficiency in payroll systems and direct banking facilities, preferably MicroPay and ConnX
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
Proven experience in face-to-face customer service or information provision in a customer centric payroll environment
Responsibilities:
Delivery of timely and accurate updating of payroll, leave and other relevant payroll information and ensuring compliance with relevant Awards, Enterprise Agreements and legislative requirements
Analyse timesheets: update and maintain all payroll records in accordance with legislative requirements
Ensure PAYG, Payroll Tax, Workcover, Superannuation and employee deduction payments are made correctly and in a timely manner, with appropriate reconciliations
Interpret awards and agreements accurately to ensure proper overtime and allowance payments
Responding to pay queries in a timely manner and contributing to a high standard of customer service for internal and external clients, quality management and risk
Assist and carry out with investigations, preparing reports with recommendations, maintaining records and systems and contributing to the development of services and projects and performance benchmarking
Other duties as required from time to time.
