Nighthawk Transport are seeking expressions of interest for Diesel Mechanics.

Must haves:

Australian Recognised Heavy Commercial Road Transport Qualification

Valid Australian Driver’s License - Minimum HR class

Experience working with Kenworth and Western Star , Freightliner prime movers and trailers experience

Proven experience in workshop roles and maintaining detailed service and repair records

Knowledge of compliance requirements and processes

Team-oriented mindset and effective communication skills

Unrestricted Australian Working Right

MUST pass a pre-employment medical and Drug and alcohol screening.

Desirable but not essential:

High Risk Work License - LF, WP, DG, RB, CN

Aircon ticket and current Refrigerant Handling License

What Does a Day as a Nighthawk Diesel Mechanic Look Like?

• Conducting routine maintenance and repairs on heavy diesel machinery, including American and European trucks and trailers

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems

• Keeping accurate records of work performed and parts used

• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment

• Communicating effectively with supervisors and other team member
