A diversified financial services group is hiring a Senior Treasury Manager to join their Australian team on a permanent or contract to permanent basis.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Credit Risk, you will be responsible for overseeing credit risk across counterparties, including assessing and processing applications from financial institutions in line with internal procedures and supporting credit risk management to ensure compliance with prudential standards and Board policy, minimizing potential losses.

Skills and Experience

• Tertiary qualification in accounting, finance or related discipline
• 5+ years credit experience with financial institutions and corporates, including strong skills in credit analysis, scoring models, and understanding of ratings agencies.
• Solid knowledge of APRA prudential standards, lending practices, loan security documentation, and risk management frameworks
• Strong knowledge of treasury operations and managing credit risk in institutional and wholesale markets.
• Proficient in payment products, credit card risk, data analytics etc.
