About The Role:
Myfreight is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our growing team at our Ringwood head office. Experience in freight management or fourth-party logistics (4PL) is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided to the right candidate with strong customer service skills and a willingness to learn. This role serves as the primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring seamless communication, timely resolution of issues, and high customer satisfaction in all aspects of freight coordination and logistics services.

Key Responsibilities:
Act as the main liaison between customers, carriers, and internal teams.
Manage day-to-day inquiries related to freight bookings, tracking, and delivery status.
Coordinate and monitor shipments, ensuring timely pick-up and delivery across various modes (road, air, rail).
Provide proactive updates to customers on shipment status, delays and investigations.
Troubleshoot and resolve freight discrepancies and damages.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within Myfreight and CRM platforms.
Process freight orders and service quotes.
Work closely with all internal teams to ensure service standards are met.
Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations and company policies.
Support continuous improvement initiatives in customer service and logistics processes.
Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administration role.
Strong knowledge or interest in 4PL, freight or logistics is advantageous.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and TMS/CRM platforms.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Team-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
VCE Certificate preferred
Training certificates desirable ie: CoR, DFM, Corporate legislation, compliance etc. preferred.

Responding to inbound customer enquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
Providing up-to-date information on our products and services
Processing customer bookings and other transactions accurately
Identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional services
Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all customer interactions
Contributing to the continuous improvement of our customer service processes and procedures
