About the Role:
Community Support Centre Innisfail is seeking a new team member to fulfill the role of Reception/Administration Assistant (Trainee). This position is Permanent Full-Time (38 hours per week; SCHADS Level 1.1 $25.41/hr).
The Receptionist/Administration Assistant works under close direction to support the management of the day-to-day reception duties.
This role ensures that initial contact with visitors accessing the Centre is responsive, respectful and meaningful.
This role involves assisting the Finance Team Leader with various tasks to support the operational support team.

Essential Requirements:
Eagerness for a career within the administration and/or finance sector.
Cultural awareness and an understanding of how to communicate and work effectively with individuals and families from different diverse cultures, ages, and experiences.
Developing knowledge and understanding of confidentiality.
Ability to work effectively and harmoniously in a team environment.
Possession of a valid 'Working with Children' Blue Card or willing to obtain one.
Desired Skills, Attributes, and Experience:
Ability to communicate effectively and possess basic verbal and written communication skills relevant to administration and finance duties.
Basic computer literacy and developing knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office, databases and other software platforms.
Ability to learn accounting software including MYOB and DEXT.
Ability to develop effective organisational and time management skills.
Flexibility to meet the needs of the organisation.
