We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with a knack for numbers. You will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of the accounts processes, from maintaining accurate records to processing payroll on time.
About You:
- Proven experience in bookkeeping and payroll administration.
- Proficiency in accounting software (please include software used on Resume)
- Experience working within the building & construction or trade related sectors preferred
- Exceptional detail-oriented personality with strong organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and the ability to work well in a team.
- Preferred (but not essential) Cert IV or Diploma in Accounts, Finance, Bookkeeping
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks
- Accounts payable & receivable functions
- Bank reconciliations
- Undertake timely timesheet and payroll processing
- Review employees payrates, awards and ensure employees are set up in accounts software to be paid accurately and on schedule
- Prepare financial reports as directed by management
- Maintain compliance with relevant reporting requirements as directed by accountant
- Support the wider leadership team with administrative tasks as needed
