The Role
This is a rare chance to lead a full-scale transformation of a 10,000-acre cattle property, responsible for implementing a strategic and operational plan to enhance productivity, profitability, and sustainability.

You’ll be tasked with building the foundation of a top-tier operation, developing pasture and feed strategies, and working toward long-term goals for infrastructure upgrades and team growth. Your duties will include (but not be limited to):

• Creating and executing a strategic cattle production plan
• Assessing and upgrading property infrastructure, including fencing, gates, and housing
• Managing animal health, nutrition, and breeding programs
• Leading and scaling a future on-farm team
• Overseeing cost management, budgeting, and reporting
• Coordinating cropping operations for supplementary cattle feed
• Building supplier relationships and ensuring operational compliance
• Representing the farm to external stakeholders, including investors

About You
Our ideal candidate will have proven experience managing cattle operations who thrives on building something from the ground up. Confident in both practical farm work and strategic oversight, to be considered for the role, you must be able to address the following criteria:

• Demonstrated experience managing cattle operations
• Strong capability in planning, budgeting, and performance tracking
• Tertiary qualifications in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or Accounting/Finance
• Effective leadership, with the ability to develop and manage a team
• Ability to build and maintain strong relations with internal/external stakeholders

The Benefits

• Salary package in the range of $130,000 – $150,000 plus performance bonuses
• Vehicle, laptop, and phone provided
• Additional rental support of up to $500 per week
