Sustainable Agriculture Facilitator

The Sustainable Agriculture Facilitator is the central point of contact and a trusted source of information supporting producers and agriculture industry stakeholders to adopt sustainable, climate-smart agriculture practices in the South Coast region of WA.

South Coast Natural Resource Management (South Coast NRM) is an independent, community-based organisation providing leadership in natural resource management, conservation, sustainability, sustainable agriculture and community capacity-building. About the role

We’re seeking a proactive and passionate Sustainable Agriculture Facilitator to join our dynamic team. With a focus on community engagement, natural capital approaches and practical support, you’ll play a vital role in helping land managers transition to more sustainable systems and explore emerging opportunities like environmental markets.

The Sustainable Agriculture Facilitator will:

Connect with and support farmers, landholders, and agriculture industry stakeholders in adopting sustainable, climate-smart practices.

Facilitate partnerships and strengthen networks across the region.

Deliver and manage projects, from procurement and budgets through to workshops and field activities.

Produce reporting, communications, and funding applications.

Represent South Coast NRM at regional events.

Collaborate closely with your colleagues and external partners to achieve shared goals.

About you

This role is ideal for someone with strong project management experience, a commitment to sustainable agriculture and natural capital, and a passion for community-driven impact. You’ll be a natural relationship builder with strong communication skills, a knack for facilitation, and the ability to work with stakeholders. The role offers an excellent opportunity to expand your networks in the South Coast region and beyond, and to connect with the other Sustainable Agriculture Facilitators around Australia.

Position details

0.8 FTE permanent, negotiable up to full time for the right candidate.

Salary range $85,000–$95,000 pro-rata, plus superannuation.

Located in the South Coast region.
