The Records Management Officer is a member of the Records Services team and is responsible for assisting with the provision of records management. The role encompasses duties relating to ensuring the correct management, control, legislative compliance and protection of Council’s corporate records.
This role is customer focused and provides services to both internal and external customers.
This exciting role will:
Capture and distribute incoming business-related correspondence through the appropriate channel, while determining suitable security and access control requirements, in accordance with relevant internal policies and procedures.
Process Council’s outgoing hard copy mail to ensure compliance with internal procedures and guidelines.
Redact sensitive information contained in documents to be placed on public facing information services such as the Application Enquiry available on Council’s website.
Ensure information is recorded accurately and in accordance with required standards, legislation and policies across all relevant systems.
Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders as a business support partner and provide tailored solutions to complex records management enquiries from other departments.
Provide training and support services to staff to improve organisational wide capability in records management.
Be proactive as a customer centric champion and contribute to continuous business improvement initiatives.

Hold a Tertiary qualifications in Records/ Information Management or equivalent and/or relevant experience

previous experience using Content Manager will be highly regarded

Competitive salary from $73,688 to $85,638 per annum
12% superannuation
Commencing salary set in line with skills and experience with annual reviews available to support movement through the salary range
