We are seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead and inspire our team at Azure Bar and Grill, the heart of our resort's dining experience. Unlike traditional roles, our Supervisors focus on overseeing and mentoring the team rather than managing individual sections. Your key responsibilities will include supervising section waiters, runners, and hosts to ensure seamless operations and exceptional service delivery.

This is a full-time, permanent role working across a 7-day rotating roster, offering stability, structured hours, and an opportunity to thrive in a dynamic environment. Due to this we can NOT consider someone who is on a working holiday visa as we require a commitment of longer than 6 months.

Your Responsibilities:

As a Food & Beverage Supervisor, your primary focus will be on leading and supporting the team. Your duties will include:

  • Team Oversight: Supervise, mentor, and develop the front-of-house team to deliver high-quality, guest-focused service.
  • Operational Coordination: Oversee the smooth running of restaurant operations during shifts, ensuring efficient team workflows.
  • Guest Interaction: Meet and greet guests, resolve service issues, and ensure every dining experience exceeds expectations.
  • Standards and Quality: Uphold service standards in line with our sequence of service and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Labour Management: Assist the Restaurant Manager in managing FOH labour costs and rostering based on business needs.
  • Team Communication: Conduct pre-shift briefings, hold regular team meetings, and foster an inclusive, collaborative work culture.
  • Continuous Improvement: Actively seek feedback from team members and guests to enhance service delivery.

About You:

We’re looking for a natural leader with outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

Key Requirements:

  • Preferably an Australian permanent resident or Citizen with a commitment to longer term employment.
  • Proven experience as a Food & Beverage Supervisor or Team Leader in a hotel, resort, or restaurant setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to manage and develop a team.
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
  • Current NSW RSA and a valid driver’s license.
  • High standards of grooming, presentation, and punctuality.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and pride in delivering outstanding guest experiences.
