We’re growing – and so is our impact. Junction Support Services is on the lookout for a Vocational Education Specialist to join our passionate team in Inner Gippsland. This full-time role (76 hours per fortnight) is based in Morwell, with travel to our co-locations in Moe, Traralgon and Pakenham.

About the Role
Sitting within our dynamic Care Services team, you’ll work in close partnership with Residential Care, ICMS, Targeted Care Packages, Support Coordination, and Youth Workers to support young people in our two-bedroom residential home. Your mission? To help young people overcome barriers, re-engage with learning, and thrive in pathways they’re passionate about.

This isn’t just about schooling – it’s about unlocking potential and creating real opportunities for growth.

You’ll work closely with the Therapeutic Specialist and the young person’s Care Team to assess educational and vocational needs, develop tailored plans, and walk alongside them as they gain the skills and confidence they need to succeed.

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

🔹 A relevant tertiary qualification in Education or related field, plus experience in a similar role
🔹 Experience working with young people with complex needs, particularly those with lived experience of abuse and neglect
🔹 Confidence working within the education sector and across multiple service systems
🔹 Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit
🔹 The ability to guide and support professionals across multidisciplinary teams
