Wyong Leagues Group is a large employer operating 12 venues across the state. Currently employing over 350+ staff, Wyong Leagues Group is an employer of choice. An exciting position that has become available for a Qualified Bowling Greenkeeper to attend and maintain our greens at our Canton Beach site. You will work with a small team who will be responsible for the day to day maintenance of all grounds work. You will directly report to the Head Greenkeeper on a daily basis.

This job requires you to be constantly proactive and highly productive, as our greens and the surrounding areas must look their absolute best for our customers needs. A typical week involves rolling the greens, treatment of weeds, pests and disease, application of herbicides and insecticides. You will be required to use greenkeeping machinery and tools on a daily basis, and keep them well maintained and correctly stored. We have 4 Bowling Clubs on the Central Coast, which you may be required to assist, or transition to based on the needs of the business.

The Role:

Full time position, 38 Hour weeks.

Weekdays and weekend work will be required.

Hours are roughly 6.00am to 1.30pm Monday to Friday, and 6.00am to 9.00am Saturday

All work will be conducted outdoors.

Responsible for maintaining and renovating of greens.

General gardening, lawn mowing, edging, brush cutting, pruning hedges and trees.

Green waste clearing and removal.

Treatment of weeds/pests.

Maintain machinery and tools.

What you must have/ be:

Class C Driver's licence and reliable vehicle.

Cert 3 in Greenkeeping or equivalent.

Chemical Accreditation.

Previous bowling green's experience is necessary for this role.

Physically fit.

Attention to detail/methodical/time management skills.

Ability to work unsupervised and part of a team.
