The role

Oxley Golf Club is seeking an experienced Greenkeeper or Grounds Person to join our team on a full-time basis. Based in Oxley, Queensland, this role will be responsible for maintaining the pristine condition of our golf course and surrounding grounds.

What you'll be doing

• Carry out regular mowing, edging, and maintenance of the golf course, including greens, fairways, and rough areas
• Ensure the golf course is free of debris and in excellent playing condition at all times
• Operate and maintain a variety of landscaping equipment, such as mowers, trimmers, and aerators
• Assist with the implementation of irrigation systems and monitor water usage
• Identify and treat any pests, diseases, or other issues affecting the course
• Collaborate with the course management team to develop and implement maintenance schedules and strategies
• Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and procedures

What we're looking for

• Experience in a similar Greenkeeper or Grounds Person role is preferred, ideally within the golf industry
• Strong practical knowledge of golf course maintenance, including turf management, irrigation, and equipment operation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure the golf course is maintained to the highest standards
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional results
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, as required
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in horticulture, turf management, or a related field would be highly advantageous
