About the role

Are you a passionate gardener looking to join a dynamic team of landscape professionals? MJ Landscapes and Maintenance, a leading provider of landscaping and maintenance services in Southport, QLD, is seeking a Gardener & Mowing Operator to join our growing team. This is a casual role providing fulltime hours.

What you'll be doing

• Performing general gardening duties including mowing, edging, pruning, weeding and planting
• Operating lawn mowers and other landscaping equipment safely and efficiently
• Providing exceptional customer service by maintaining well-presented and tidy outdoor spaces
• Participating in team-based projects and collaborating with other landscaping professionals
• Adhering to all health, safety and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

• Demonstrated experience in gardening, landscaping or a related field - Has experience using ride-on mower, push mower, whipper snipper, hedging, brush cutting.
• Familiarity with operating and maintaining lawn mowers and other landscaping equipment
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• A positive, customer-focused attitude and the ability to work effectively in a team
• A valid driver's license and your own reliable transportation to get to work
