This is an opportunity for an experienced clinician to join our dedicated team to deliver Integrated Primary Mental Health Care for Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people. This includes low intensity psychological intervention (LIPI), psychological therapy and care coordination. It requires exemplary clinical skills to set a high standard of person-centred, evidence-based and relationship-based therapeutic intervention for the team, and an ability to provide high-quality supervision and mentoring.
Team members travel regularly, including overnight stays, to connect with communities in the wider Mid West health region such as in Three Springs, Meekatharra and Carnarvon.
We are seeking applicants with:
- Tertiary qualification in Social Work and AASW membership with mental health accreditation, or working towards
- Highly developed knowledge and skills in assessment and counselling using a range of evidence-based therapeutic models.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent written communication skills particularly in the development of quality treatment plans, case notes and progress reports.
- Willingness to obtain a national police certificate, NDIS worker check and working with children check.
